Watch service

I need an Omega seamaster serviced and don't want to pay the huge amount omega want. Don't want it polished just the internals done.
Watched a video of it being done and think it might be a bit beyond my capabilities.
Any ideas?

Go onto E bay and search Omega service
the guy is ex omega watch repairer and i have seen some of his work and its very good
he referred/repaired a mates 1950 seamaster and it was stunning
contact him and ask questions he is usually happy to answer
he lives local to me but won't accept personal visits any more as his wife goes mad at him

I know its E bay but he has a good rep

Omega service

Just had an Omega serviced at Genisis Watchmaking CA8 0AQ recommended off this site top top customer service and very good value.Rgds Allan

The Watch Doctor in Tring, England, does all makes (they have a team of guys in specialist premises) I've seen Rolex and Omega's there. Do postal service.

Having read more than a few CVs - I find it strange that he says he was an "Omega employee" - without actually stating what he did there? (or have I missed that?)

Swiss Time Services down in Essex, think the name of the chap I spoke to was Simon.

They appear to do work for Omega, perhaps as an overflow facility - would not want to send it to Omega in Southampton now but have done in the past and been happy with service.

Plus one for Swiss Time Services but Jarco does not want to pay a huge amount. IMHO STS are the best for vintage Omega but they are at the top of the price range. They made a fantastic job of my Constellation.
