That will beThe post re the guy in Italy states he was in a hire car so presumably italian plates and italian police contacted hire car co who passed on the info .
. Nearly two years now and still nothing.
Most of the posts here refer to getting stopped by the Gendarmes, but what about if you are caught speeding on camera?
I returned from France a couple of weeks ago and even though I didn't get stopped I can't help wondering if my indiscretions were recorded. If so, can anybody tell me when I can expect to be notified?

Another nice little quirk of the frog police is.
A neighbour of mine who had been resident, say for a few years in France, but still drove a UK registered car, it was CT, (French MOT), and insuranced in France, but was still UK reg.
The flick stopped her one day and asked to see her details - they saw that she was resident in France, (a retired 70 year old English women), fined her £1,000 for driving an "illegal" car in France which she owned.
If you are resident in France it is illegal to drive a UK reg car for more than the first month or so, there are lots of "ex pats" doing it - and they are "rich pickings" for the Froggy police
Just done 4000 miles around Europe on two trips, found approach roads to Calais laden with cops and traps.....
