Waterford, Cork, Ring of Kerry, August Bank Holiday

Yo Tossers, I have just come back from a family holiday to the aforementioned South of Ireland and thought that it would make a fantastic GSers Weekend. I intend to go on the Holyhead to Dublin Ferry, blast down to either Waterford or Kinsale and do the famous Ring of Kerry and back up through Limerick to Dublin. Plan is 3-4 nights around the August bank holiday, i.e off on the Friday and return on the 31st ish.

If there is sufficient interest I would look for a block booking.

Should have added a bit more detail :

the trip would be a hotel job rather than a camping job and you are talking mileage wise about 400 miles day one to get to either waterford or Kinsale. Travel out and back on Irish ferries http://www.irishferries.com (about £108 return with bike) and first night in a BB. Would heartily recommend the Trident Hotel in Kinsale; you can find it easily on t'internet. Then next night in Killarney and around the Ring and another night in Killarney, then back to Dublin and home to trip HQ in Stockport or wherever yours is. All in you would be taling about 1200 miles ....

Sorry and I know I go on about it... But the ring of Kerry on a bank holiday August... FFS....

But the ring of Beara, Sheeps head or Mizen would be great...
