waterproof boots?

Well after being out on the bike last night in the nice inclement weather and riding through a foot and a half of water my alpinestars have decided they no longer want to keep the water out. So I am after a new set of daisy roots.

Can anyone recommend a good set of general purpose boots that wont let the water in. I do a bit of touring so do not need any moto x stuff.

I had the same problem with my Alpinestars so have just invested in a pair of Daytona Travelstar GTX's. So far, so good.
