Hi, anybody know where I can obtain a waterproof, illuminated-when-on 12v rocker switch? PIAA do one I know, but I'd sooner not pay £20 for a switch.

I think Yamaha do one in Grey with rap around plastic cover for one of the 250's i think. about £19..saves you a whole £1 and just down the road to the dealer.

The other two alternatives to the PIAA switch would be the OE one on the 1200 Adventure or the Bike It one. Les Wassall is doing that one for £13.00 including postage. I don't think it's illuminated, though....
I wouldd't bank on getting a PIAA switch soon though. As I ordered one in late June 07(off NN) and had to resort--well BTBR had too--to sourcing one on fleebay in early Dec There is a supply problem between Japan via the USofA then onto the UK --says NN 'they have to (PIAA) have a combined min order of 5000 before production'.

No not illuminated, looks like a o/e kill switch.

So my spare PIAA lighty upy switch is worth how much then
Go one if some body needs it, think it was £19 off some site ont net that does lots of stuff, bikeit or some thing like that. I had missplaced my one and rang them for a spare that was last year thou....make me aa hoffer
