Waterproof jacket

Could someone recommend me a waterproof/rain jacket to put over my Revitt jacket (the Revitt is not waterproof anymore - used one of those spray but in heavy rain the water finds its way). I don't want anything expensive, Thanks

Cycle jackets work well, also look online for a company called pac a mac, have one and works well. Just remember to upsize to allow going over the bike jacket.

Have you had a look on the Hein Gericke site?

They have some jubilee offers with free postage if you spend over £24. They do waterproof jackets aswell

How did you manage for sizing? Was it a case of measuring chest size whilst wearing your jacket? I'd have thought these were a bit over-sized anyway?

I have recently bought a Spada over jacket for around £30. It's a Little longer than most which stops the rain finding it's way between my jacket and pants.

It is nice n thick and is 100% waterproof, I'm very pleased with it

TKMax is your friend

I get all my waterproof over jackets from the Max, bought 3 so far and all have been for under £20. My current one (Nautica) is excellent, all seams taped, fold away hood, packs down small, breathable and 100% waterproof.

Have you thought about wearing trousers, should be drier and safer.
