Is there such a thing ?
Can't find a recent discussion so has anyone found a proper waterproof winter glove (not marigolds)

Agreed. I think there was a post recently on gloves but I just use my summer / all year round Helds and put a pair of 100% waterproof goretex mits over them with long sleeves so they come right up my forearm. Works a treat. I tried all sorts even expensive Rukka ones but they weren't water PROOF either.

I’ve had my Alpinstar Jetroad’s for at least 10 years, they have never leaked and are very warm. No idea if they still make them or something similar.
Spada Acqua Shield Waterproof Overmitts for Motorcycle Gloves in Black or Yellow. These work well, 'lobster style' and go over your standard gloves, cheap at about £10 as well

I have a pair of BMW All-round (I think) gloves which have been excellent in winter
But.... By far the best IMO have been Tucano Urbano muffs with heated grips.... Excellent 👍 👌

this was my preference when commuting

I have a pair of Richa Arctic which are pretty good. It's an older version of the ones shown here on the Ride Recommended page.
