Waypoints on Mapsource

Hi folks. Now have my Mapsource working after reloading. 2 things however are puzzling me. I have downloaded seperate files with a list of waypoints for BMW dealers in Europe, as found on this site. When I open them in mapsource the waypoints have not only BMW attached to them but the address and phone number on a strip which almost obscures the whole map as there are so many of them. Can I minimize these banners to just show BMW and nothing else on the standard view of the map?
Also, the Germany list of dealers has 185 dealers on it but only a few say Moto. Are they all bike dealers or are some just car dealerships. Dont want to download 185 of them and go to a car dealer by mistake if I have an emergency on Holls. Is it also possible to download them to my garmin 2610 as a seperate group rather than them mixing in with my normal waypoints.

I think if you go to EDIT--->PREFERENCES

Then in there click on the WAYPOINT tab, change the "DISPLAY" to SYMBOL ONLY and that should do it.

Try, edit - preferences - waypoints and then change the display option. Might work

Save yourself lots of time, effort and worry.

As in the UK, BuMW motorcycle shops are not in every town or city. Arguably London (despite its area and undoubted importance) only has one: Park Lane whose showroom is nowhere near it's servicing / spares outlet.

Any motorcycle shop will do in an emergency. In any hotel pick up a copy of the area's local yellow pages and find a suitable place....the receptionist will call them if you ask nicely, or failing that, ask any local motorcyclist where they go, using the 'army-shouty' method of communication (see threads).
