WC off road day

Very pleased to report we've had a great day out with Garry and the boys (12 of us in total) on and mix of big bikes including two KTM's, Triumph's and the balance being BM's from an x-challenge to GSA WC.

The weather forecast didn't deliver on the promised clear afternoon which would no doubt have given us some great views of the countryside we passed through but that did not take away from the fact we all had a good time learning how capable these bikes are once Garry had given us the benefit of his clear instruction and guidance:thumb

As I said great day and many thanks to Garry for arranging:clap

There you are.....where've you been hiding???? ;)

You are all very welcome lads, well done for braving the fog and manning up.
A great days riding.

A few pics to follow shortly.

We started with a bit of confidence building and controlling the bike at 0 MPH.

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo2-2-5.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo2-2-5.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo2-2-5.jpg"/></a>

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo3-2-4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo3-2-4.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo3-2-4.jpg"/></a>

Then a few goes across the tyre to show how capable the suspension is and again to boost the confidence.

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo5-2-3.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo5-2-3.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo5-2-3.jpg"/></a>

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo4-3-2.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo4-3-2.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo4-3-2.jpg"/></a>

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo3-3-2.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo3-3-2.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo3-3-2.jpg"/></a>

The Dirty Dozen ( see what I did there )

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo1-2-4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo1-2-4.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo1-2-4.jpg"/></a>

We then found a simple trail and did some emergency braking ( with and without ABS)

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo1-29.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo1-29.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo1-29.jpg"/></a>

Then it was time to find some water!!!!!

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo5-14.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo5-14.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo5-14.jpg"/></a>

<a href="http://s1195.photobucket.com/user/munnyman44/media/photo1-4-2.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa390/munnyman44/photo1-4-2.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo photo1-4-2.jpg"/></a>

Looks like a great day had by all, about John's gsa it has silver rims instead of the black was that an option..? I prefer the black just not seen one with the silver rims looks good tho :-)

Hi Rob
The silver wheels are my spare set with off road tyres fitted, it came with black wheels which I use with road tyres on, lot quicker than changing tyres !!!
