The waterfall is just west of Aughnasheelan; where it was I am unable to say with certainty but suspect it has been there for a long time
The waterfall is called Poll an Easa and it is indeed in Aughnasheelin, Co. Leitrim. The reason I know this is because this is where I grew up and that river is where I learned to swim.
From looking at your pictures you seem to have went up to the shannon pot, but from there I've no idea.
Are you able to post the route that you took? It looks like you covered some great roads.
