Weather protection for Autocom DIN sockets?

First thing to do is get a coiled lead for the helmet part, otherwise it dangles down behind the exhaust.... I found out the hard way, with a completely frazzled lead.

I wouldnt worry about water ingress too much I dont think

Oh Oh I know about this one!

You can get some rubber chair leg ends from DIY places that do this really well.
Take a lead with you and buy a bag full for a couple of quid.

Got mine at a little independant store but Robert Dyas/ B&Q etc will also have them (R D's are a bit pricier though)

Skippy.

Skippy's idea sounds good, but, using Autocom for over 3 years in all weathers, leaving the sockets protruding just below the seat, I never had any problems caused by water ingress. I just tapped the connectors before plugging in to get rid of water that might be in the socket at the time...

Danglie bits!

I got in touch with my Autocom dealer about water in the lead ends and they said don't bother about covers just tuck them away under the seat when not in use!

A dollop of vaseline from time to time shoved in the ends the waterproofs the connectors a treat.
