Seeing as you are likely to be stuck in with the weather, no doubt bored, I could be over in a couple of hours with a final drive to while away the days with??

Don't think the owners of the cottage would be pleased with me clamping it to the kitchen worktop,or stinking the place out with gear oil:D
I think high tide is in about an hour and the wind has dropped a bit so we may well survive the night,:D
My missus looks a bit concerned though:comfort

A bit damp the morn!
Power is out but we've got the gas hob and fire and, before anyone points out the obvious, a UPS on my broadband router.
Anyone been out sandbagging?

Survived the night ok:thumb
Although pretty windy ,the waves were not crashing over the sea wall as much as Monday morning,
Hopefully the reality wasn't as bad as the forecasts predicted:comfort

Warning to everybody in Tosserville, this man causes bad weather, do not travel anywhere with him :D

He even managed to make it rain in Spain

When will your wife learn :blast

If you need one doing, I'm happy to take it back with me:thumby:

Kind offer.....merry quip on my part!

Shocking wet here...lochs overflowing, river going mad, road shut at Kirkmicheal turn, every field gushing water, RN Sea King up and down glen. House (full of paying bods for New Year...) leaking like a sieve.

Only one thing for it.....whisky....

Corrected it for you. :thumb

Try whisky .... and Lots of buckets along the hallway

number each bucket and give each guest a number and responsibility to keep from overflowing -winner is guest with most buckets emptied and no damp patches on floor or ceiling below !

Good luck

I see the bridge is 'unuseable' at Blackwater
