Weathers kinda nice - time to ride!

My phone would only let me do one at a time, but a couple quick shots from the Applecross ride on Sunday.
Thankfully the weather actually held out for us, I actually had to take layers off as we went which is unusual for Scotland.

ah, yes indeed, parked just along the road from there about 6 weeks ago when I was mountain biking

Now appearing on our roads.
What does it mean?

I’ve met a few up the road to Tyndrum. And elsewhere.
Just a distraction.
If you focus on the new road markings you’re likely to fuck up your optimum line round the curve.
That is Eriboll.See the houses on the road at the back, when I lived up there some 25-30 years ago there was just one house.
It was a genuinely remote road especially in winter.

Yer quite correct ,, and it’s a different world altogether in t winter ,,, used to be up n down to those parts regularly in my work life - - NOT for the faint of heart 
I remember seeing minus -11 C on the outside temp gauge while crossing that bit of open moorland on the south side of Ullapool

From todays bimbling ride westwards to Spean Bridge via Laggan and then across the canal and alongside Loch Arkaig.
The Witches Pool waterfall
And here we have one of three nutters from Bournemouth that decided it would be a good idea to enjoy a cooling swim . . .

Only a couple of showers the whole time I was out, which was nice. I did ride through a couple of areas that had suffered a deluge just before my arrival - the weather gods were smiling on me today.

An early start then 110 miles for a bacon roll.
303 miles round trip home again.
Summer has surely arrived. Topped out at 27 degrees near Crianlarich.
Nasty long delay on A816 south of Oban for tarmac work. Plus umpteen other traffic lights for “road works”. Never seen so many.
