Hey Cabby, did you turn right and head back to Killin? Did that road last year, it's in a right old state. Stopped to open 1 of the 2 gates on the road, GS facing downhill, thought is was secure, walked towards gate when i heard the crash :blast had a right struggle trying to lift the lump back-up. Fantastic views though.

Not on this occasion, decided to retrace back down the glen.

Turned out a very nice evening...

I initially thought Glen Shee but then wasn't sure.
So where was this taken.
Agree t'was a fine evening, there was a beautiful play of light in the Angus Glens this evening on my return from Blood Bike duties.

Took a ride up to the Green Welly to meet a couple of friends who'd been climbing in Skye. Took the long way round via Crieff, Buchanty, the Sma' Glen and the Amulree - Kenmore road. Jeez, I'd forgotten how tight the hairpins are on that road!

En route, at Wester Fowlis, there's a reproduction of a Pictish cross slab from 1200 years ago. The original is in the church. https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/crieff/fowliswester/index.html

Bloody weather forecast was pretty Spot On - lovely big shower at 1215h on Knockhill circuit just as I was getting the hang of it.

Previous Fast session was Red Flagged because 2 Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeers had made an appearance on the far side of the track :)
