With the promise of a sunny day I blagged a pass out for a wee ride.
A 7am kick off led to a late tea at 7.30pm.
A wee 400 mile loop to make the most of the weather and enjoy a fair chunk of Scotland’s best roads.
I don’t put my helmet on for less than 100 miles. No popping down to McDonalds.
Almost all my roads were clear of traffic. Any 4 wheeled devices were despatched with ease.
The good roads start at Scone Palace heading north.
Glen Shee is a must - I don’t know how many times I’ve taken a snap in the same place.
First pit stop in Braemar.
Over The Don - I’m not sure what the pill box by the bridge was used for.
Huntly.
Glenallachie.
Second pit stop by the Spey near Grantown.
Laggan - by-passing Aviemore.
Spean Bridge.
Fort Bill.
Onich.
Loch Awe.
Tyndrum.
Loch Earn.
Crieff.
Balado.
Kincardine.
A mere 425 miles.
Dash says Average 43 mph and 63 mpg.
I don’t mind if it rains tomorrow.
