The Plough from 7.30 onwards.

In my inimitable style I will arrive nearer 8.00.

See you down there:thumb2

The Plough

:confused:Is that the pub that did the very nice coffee and bacon baps on New Years day and loads of bikes up and down the street?

Probably not. It is right next to the River Darenth in Eynsford.
BTW, it is compulsary to go through the ford if coming from the main road :D

Not the same place........

The Boxing Day meet was at The Bull, Farningham.

There is a meet at The Plough, Eynsford the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Eynsford is the next village upstream on the River Darent.

The Plough is on "Riverside" - over the bridge opposite the church.

People are there from 19.30 for a pint and a chat.

See you there perchance?

ok,ok

I knew that Woodsie, just coz I got the wrong pub in the wrong village on the wrong day, I was close though. I've had several seats all gel'd up and recovered at LICS, just over the road from there. Is the food expencive in the Pluff?

Near enough is good enough.......................

II was close though. Is the food expencive in the Pluff?

The Pluff is a "gastro pub" ( so they say) so is on the pricey side for nosh.

Always at least one good beer.:thumb2

Apparently some lager is available as well:nenau

Andy, once a month at the Malt Shovel is about the only time I enjoy our "national dish", and it's pretty OK there. For £7 or so you get the grub and a beer/soft drink, and, unlike the Plough, I've not had to send food back 'cos it was poorly cooked !!! Additionally, it suits my rather nomadic/pikey like existence, enabling me go have a night off self provisioning.
All the bollocks aside, see you there tonight for some more.

Maybe next month, or April, when it's warmer. :augie

It would be worth the ride for a decent meal. The place we go to at the moment is rubbish. The menu looks good but the food is third rate. I may even treat Jacko to some Fish & Chips. :P

I hope you are all well and look forward to catching up soon: The Channel Tunnel is calling....................

All well at this end - how about you?

The fish and chips aren't bad at all and a good pint of Gales Seafarer as well.

Obviously you are in need of some sun over the water.

I dont know where ditchi is headed, but Robbie, the ladies and I are off to slovenia in the summer.
And a recce in portugal in spring.rock n roll.

Fish & Chips for you as well Kev. I owe you one. ;)

As for my travels...There is unfinished business on the Iberian Pennisular after last year's breakdown on the GSA, and I was thinking about buying a map of Italy and a new phrase book.

It'll be the TTR on new TKC's this time. :)

The key is under the flower pot:D

We plan to venture to Spain this year and of course the TT.

There may be a TT troupe passing your door on 30 May if you're in the country.................................

I look forward to it either here, there or over there. :beerjug:

Be good to see you too Paul. A little fish n chip interlude would allow some good catch up time.
I note you've got Chefchaoun on yer avatar :augie. Brings back memories of last year, a testing discussion over mint tea as to whether we rode the Rif mountains route or took the less interesting route towards Ifrane. Unfortunately, we went with the limp wrist's and took the easier road. Such is life in a democracy :ronno
