Sorry lads, can make it. I have far too much work on at the moment and I need to work the weekend. Have a good weekend and take plenty of photos.

Tossers and Langers on a Pier
Good craic today lads - and good to put a few more faces to names. I'm glad I didn't go over the gap going home but I still had a few moments with the wind.
Here's a picture I'm calling 'Tossers and Langers on a Pier':

As you've probably guessed today was a bit of a 'non-event'
Got a text early fron Bin Ridin to say he was on his way but a while later another to say he'd had to turn back due to the wind ( no not his, stupid ) In the intervening period BigFella had cancelled too. Marcus decided he didn't want to risk the bike & Daithi had an electrical problem - no tail light And Padge texted to say he was havin' to abandon the bike in Longford, hope he got home alright.
After messin' around with Daithi's bike for a while (talk about the blind leadin' the blind ) we managed to rig up the tail light. But as it was on permanently he decided to hit the road. After dropping Marcus to the train - his bike is in my garage 
pending the forthcoming sale - I spent the afternoon watching the box.
Got a text from Daithi about eight PM to say he was home after breaking down not long after leaving my place - & the spanner never rang me to assist him
. Readin' that again I realise he probably reckoned I'd done enough damage for one day 
I await further details with interest

Hi Guys , you will be glad to know that Marcus's GS has gone to a caring home. Thanks to Jockser for the hospitality on sunday when I picked up the machine and to Marcus who was a sound guy to deal with. I will be keeping an eye on the site to see whats happening, hopefully our paths may cross on a run in the future.

Right then, if we are going to have a feckin PRC forum, can we have a translator?
and no, I don't want a Limerick forum,
perhaps a Civil forum, but then we'd all have to be polite or have to buy something, depending on your interpretation.
How about a Schism forum for all of those that don't want to be part of any other established forum
or a Readers' forum for those that don't want to contribute
or an Eclectic forum which takes a random sample of posts to other fora
