View from the top, yes that is a Tony trying to stop a GS from falling over :D

So is this the road to Applecross? I'm heading up at the weekend and would like to do this. Is it a case of (from Blairgowrie) up to Inverness via Braemar, then A832, and A896 to Shieldag and then the windy stuuf to Appplecross via Fearnmore, then back over to Lochcarron, and down the A87 to catch the A82 to our overnight stay at Tarbet.

Your advice and help gratefully accepted.

Looks good - shame there's a bit of doubling back but hopefully it's worth it. If the weather is naff is it still a worthwhile journey?

Wow

Superb shots has just brought back all my meomories of just two weeks ago when we were at the same locations. All be it with more cloud round the tops of the mountains and waterfalls pouring down the sides.

Awesome roads and scenery !!
