Weekend in Tobermory 10 to 12 June

At the Blacklunans piss up at the weekend we were talking about having a weekend somewhere and a few folk haven't been to Tobermory - so, rather than Ullapool again, Tobermory would be somewhere good for a change.

There are ferries to be caught, island hoping routes to take before or after and a variety of ways of getting to the ferries. For getting your head down there is camping just above the town and the normal B&B's and hotels around. Plus pubs.

And beaches and hills and sheep for daytime activities.

I would have been keen to come to this but I will be sitting in the middle of the Iraqi desert.

Hopefully I will be home for the next one; the Blackloonies night was a great laugh.

Yesterday It's a hard life. I'm on induction until tomorrow. Start nightshift next Wednesday. Work Wednesday and Thursday then I'm Friday Saturday and Sunday off

Bad timing. Might leave this one for now, perhaps a date later in the summer will suit more folk. I may well be in the town for one of the nights of the weekend anyway if I'm out and about but certainly won't book an area in the campsite!
