Weiser Wizard Multifunction Indicators Re-Sequencing kit on a 1300

I'm in the process of buying a new to me GS 1300 and I'm going to fit a Weizer Wizard Multifunction Indicators Re-Sequencing Kit. I had these fitted to my previous 1250GSA and know how easy they are to fit.

HOWEVER

I would also like to fit an extra running/brake light under the number plate. I have spoken to Weiser Wizard and this will connect directly to the Re-Sequencing Kit and does not reaurie a Hexcan etc. Unfortunately I've not been able to find any install instructions for this extra brake light on the internet.

Has anyone fitted one of these Weiser Wizard extra brake light kits and how easy is it to install?

I fitted one to mine with the Denali B6 supplied by Weiser, I originally wanted the T3 but it wouldn’t wouldn’t work properly, it really is just a matter of plugging it in. I found the trickiest bit was feeding the B6 cable through.
I had the Weiser Evo indicator kit on my previous R1250GS, brilliant kit and great people to deal with.
I asked Mark at Weiser if they were going to produce their own brake light as I’d prefer one of their products but at the time they were in development so I went with the Denali.

Yes i have fitted one. As you say , very straight forward it comes with all instructions. The running/brake light is part of the same kit so the same 2 connections for indicators and the light comes off there.

I have the Weiser wizards, but Hexcan worth the extra i think and not that hard to fit. You can then configure a lot more (flash on hard braking, engine braking, etc). I have Denali D3 on the front at the moment but waiting on the Lone Rider Motolight to become available again as they do a hell of a lot from one channel.

I have the weiser wizards, with extra brake light…… piece of piss to fit after watching the install video.
I don’t like doing electrics, but a 10 year old could do this on a r1300gs.
The hardest bit was taking the plastic piece from under the rear tail piece to feed the wire to the brake light….but still very very easy….
….and it’s a very worthwhile addition imho.

With the extra Denali rear light, did you have splice into any wires or does the rear light connect with a block?

When you buy just the indicator set it is a simple task to disconnect the indicator joints and connect the Weiser Wizards to them.

With the kit including the rear light (as stated above the supplied light is a Denali B6. It is well made, light and very bright) , there an extra wire coming from the 'indicator loom' with a connector at the end. This simply connects with the wire comming up from the rear light. This extra wire is shown in the above video at about 14m 56 secs

The only difficult bit is getting the rear light wire up and under the seat to make the connection with the 'indicator loom'. To do this you have to undo the inner mudguard from the top mudguard which contains the rear radar if you have one fitted. There is a small hole in the inner mudguard that you can push the connector through. With the inner and upper mudguard disconnected, if you then look down the gap between the inner and upper mudguard you should see daylight comming from the under seat section. It's tight and fiddley but the rear light wire and connector can be pushed though. All you have to so then is connect the wires together, reconnect the mudguards and tidy up the wiring. Sounds harder than it is.

I believe the rear light can come in two formats. One is a brake light only, and the other is a brake light and running light, I chose the latter.

It's a great piece of kit IMHO but very expensive

Connected with a block, no change/damage to the original wiring, unlike when I fitted the Evo kit to my R1250GS which made slight damage to the wire supplying the brake light.

Bought the set, thanks for the info above
Bit stressed dismantling the rear end but all worked out fine once I realised I had to remove the
OE alarm (Pre reg bike, was already fitted) to get to the hole to feed the brake light cable through
underneath
After having the wizards on my 1250GS, these were a no brainer
Really pleased with the kit
