Wow!

I can wax lyrical about road tyres, but I don't really know much about off road tyres. What a feckin difference a new pair of Maxis Enduro tyres has made to my WR though :eek

Incredible. My old tyres were pretty errr, tired, but I didn't think the difference between old and new would be so huge.

I'm amazed, this is mud on a sort of chalky base (North Downs..) but the grip ... :clap

Look yer sarky fecker, my point is, that on the road, all road tyres have a slightly different feel to them - how they behave in the wet, how they turn in, how much grip you have in the dry ... And I can feel all those differences from one make of tyre to another.

I'm just amazed that it's so much the same (if not even more pronounced) on dirt. I'm still learning my craft off road :P but the confidence that these new tyres have given me ... well .... an incredible difference -I'll soon be an off road God as well ... :D :D

off road god

did you still have the tyres on from when you purchased the bike ? that bike has aways suffered from direction issues !!!!! came close to racing tim in competa. but just seemed to crash more often in the hands of an idiot ::blast:blast just found the steering lock key for the wr pm your postal details thank peter .....

Yes it had the same tyres that had truly had their day. No wonder the front felt so vague at the Cambrian. PM on its way .. :beerjug:
