Could you claim for that on your insurance, or would the loss of no-claims make it a futile excercise?

Hit the "ding" back out and i don't think you'll have any problems.

I sorted the spare rim on my crm the other day which was worth than that. Heat it up with a blowtorch and smack it with a nylon hammer.

It's difficult to make out from the picture, but is it just dented, or is there a split in it? If it's split, I'd be putting a new one on. If it's only dented, then either a dead mallet or a hydraulic press will fix it.
I have a KTM 640 adventure, the one with the chocolate wheel rims, and that's what I used to straighten mine. :thumb

No split, yet, but who knows if I press it?

I will attack it when I get the use of my left hand back, fell over a toybox last night (redecorating bedrooms so stuff lying around) hurt my previously smashed wrist and suffed my thumb big time, give it a week or so then we go for it :(:( righthand was fine it had a scotch in it :augie

A 950 riding with me at Rooiberg a month ago had a longer deeper smilie than that, we could see the tube, but no puncture!!!
