I have lots of opinions about this 'incident'. Most of them have the word "STUPID" in.

The bike handles the drop very well.
It very did, didn't it. I'm gonna say he was lucky with that too.
For me, it was because he wasn't at balance as he started to cross.

Not laughing at him, but at his situation as most of us have been there. It's just we haven't dropped 15ft after a tumble.So here, his left foot is low after attempting a padel and his luggage is loaded left, so bike leaning left, balance left, the only thing he can do to stop dropping left is steer left to get his balance back but he's not quick enough, so the bike just steers left instead and the rest is history. I'm not convinced by his explanation at the end, but fair play, he posted the fall and hopefully it'll go viral as a lesson for non-Chris Birch types - that's 98% of us.

Lucky he didn't break his neck in that fall. I'm all for a sense of adventure but there are situations some people should just not put themselves in for their own safety.

Very lucky escape. Lack of offroad experience and skill being a huge standout watching the video.
Sometimes your luck runs out or in this case he fancied a detour with a bit of extra leg work. I think he needs to buy a lottery ticket.

He seems a nice guy but he also strikes me as somebody who has disaster written all over him too!!
