Well vented riding pants (trousers) recommendations pleasa

Have you looked at Macna cooling vest? Clever kit and only needs a pint of water to work for a fair few hours.

cant help you with the trousers, I have Rukka mesh suits, not even sure what model. I had the old longer jacket Airman then upgraded last year but not sure what model it is now.
But for the heat I use the Macna cooling vest as suggested above. Really effective and provided you fill it right will provide you with a full days riding cooling. Take some water to fill if needs be.
I find if my trunk is cool then the rest is fine. Just my experience.
So mesh suit over a Macna cooling vest. ...and I ride with a Helite turtle which fits loosely over all and yet the airflow is still fine to ensure enough flows through the Cooling vest.

Snap. Last year Macna cooling vest under a Klim Marrakesh jacket with a Helite over the top and I was too cold at times in Spain in September. In the past the Macna under a Klim Badlands with the Helite over the top has worked very well and is more adaptable in changing conditions.

I used Dianese mesh gear in India at up to forty degrees. It worked up to a point. The guy leading the tour wore motocross armour on a mesh frame, with a motocross shirt over the top. He was the coolest of the lot of us and barely broke a sweat.

As a result, I’ve just bought a set off Vinted for twenty five quid to give it a go in Morocco or Turkey.

By way of an update I bought some Merlin Taos Air Mesh Stretch Trousers. Only single A rated, but fairly cheap from Sportsbike Shop.

Yesterday I went to Motolegends & used their high pressure fan to do an air flow comparison with the Marrakesh Pants & it was no contest, so despite being black, in sure to be cooler on the move in the Taos'

I've used these for the past 6 years or so, and would happily recommend.

Try Klim Induction pants and jacket. I think they are the ultimate mesh gear that Klim sell. I’ve had two lots and they are brilliant, really really vented. If I’m going somewhere hot I wear the induction kit with a think goretex shell ready to go on top in case it rains or gets chilly

out of stock till end June..Must be a good pant

25% off Klim Induction and Marrakesh mesh stuff. Cheaper than Sportsbikeshop at the moment. And they still have stock in 'proper man' sizes.

Send it to Motolegends and get further 10% off

I'm looking at a new suit to compliment my Rukka Nivala that is great for 6 months of the year (Nov-Apr), and think I'm going to go for the Leatt Flowtour adventure suit. These come with detachable waterproof linings that you can wear outside the trousers (both the jacket and the trousers have that feature). I reckon its probably going to be a bit better in then hot weather than black 3 layer laminated gear. :DD

Got to say mine made next to no difference under my Marrakesh jacket, has worked great under my Badlands, in Spain in previous years & the Marrakesh last year, but not under the Marrakesh this year. Soaking my shirt worked a lot better but needed ‘refreshing’ every 2 hours. (32c in the Dolomites & Italy, high humidity early this month).
