Welsh Local Goverment proposal to remove the need to advertise new TRO's

The Welsh Local Government have proposed that the need to advertise new TRO's (orders which prevent people from riding/driving on roads/trails) be removed.
They are suggesting that local authorities will only have to employ ONE of these methods to communicate new TRO's:-
•Publishing information on their websites.
• Publishing in council publications.
• Publishing in local newspapers.
Displaying notices on roads.
• Delivering notices or letters by post.
• Leaflet drop to affected or interested addresses.
• Sending notices or letters electronically to affected addresses
.

This will make it much easier for a Local Authority to implement a TRO without offroad groups being consulted, so please register your objection by 29th February using the online form here:

Yep. Just like they do with speed limits. Can't have people participating in democracy now, can we? After all, if it changed anything they wouldn't let us vote.
