Went out for a play on the bike in my 'back garden'

............I felt alive and then some today, going for a muck about in my 'back garden'....seemed to occupy myself for 4 hours and did about 100 miles......:D

I didn't have a route in mind, just a simple, 'go see' approach.....only rule was to stick to the thin blue lines on the sat nav

being out on the bike is a cure for so many things.....:D
 
Some nice pics..... I hoped to get a few miles in today, but had to sit in with my youngest who is covered in the chicken pox :comfort

I definately WILL make it up next Saturday though :D

Ours has the Scarlet Fever. He's feeling better than he was though. :thumb2

I too hope to get a ride in that's purely for pleasure sometime soon. :(
 
Chez Garfud needs a lick o' paint but fair play to you: a detached hoose in Dalkeith is more than many on here can boast o' :thumb

PS I was up in Blairgowrie the day on four wheels. Cracking day and a cracking run up there. I think I saw two bikes all day.

I like the Bass Rock picture, looks much closer inshore in your shot than it actually is.

Still cold in Scotland, plenty of snow left about. Got to visit my uncle in Penicuik soon, might have a meander round some of the local roads if time permits.

that's the one, it's my second one, first one broke on a Hindu temple near Chennai....:duno .........I really rate it and it was nicely priced when it was around, think it's been updated

loads of snow in Penicuik when I was there a week ago.....:beerjug:
 
That Whiteadder road is an excellent little jaunt, a wee warm up for the seaon ahead, and better than just commuting on the bike.

Great pics. I know these roads well - so much so that I fell off a wee TS125 more or less in front of the bridge thingy.
Last week-end this was all snow - can't believe it's gone so quickly.

.............I'm still learning the roads down there, I went a couple of places at the weekend that were new to me....:blast
