A quick report on a short blast from Wetherby to Devils Bridge and back again.
Met up with a bunch of guys on 22.4.08 and set off to Devils Bridge via Ripon Layburn Hawes then to D Bridge
Quite a chilly start but it brightened up a treat. No photo stops until Hawes
and the race bikes struggled to keep up
honestly, the GS handled very well.
Obligatory stop for coffee at Hawes
but then dropped the GS after getting fuel
no whitnesse

There was a lovely grey and black 800GS but didnt getchance to talk to the owner to find out if he was from this parish, but it sounded great
Then it was off on the B6255 between Whernside and Ingleborough, unfortunately trying to stay as a group no photos
Quickly got to Devils Bridge and a welcome buttie and walk about.
Some of the guys were skint so the went looking for dropped sarnies
As I was time bound I had to get back to pick the kids up so I said goodbye to the guys who were heading into the lakes and back down to Squires for supper.
looking closely at the blokey on the Mamola Rep in the back ground it looks like he nearly binned it

My plan was to tootle back home and get some pics but after I had taken the next 2 I realised I was very late and had to push on.
I think this is Ingleborough
seen from the A65
Thanks to Mark (redVFR) for leading the way and thanks to the other guys for the ride out and sorry I had go back early
Thanks for looking
