Mrs Bravo and I are heading to the Republic in July, should have gone in 21 but that cursed Chinky flu put the kibosh on it.
We're looking forward to seeing our dear friends @Hatcho and the lovely Pauline, visiting some Ducati riding friends in Tipperary(it's a long way).
Hoping for decent weather, lots of Guinness and general hooning around on them lovely roads.

Feeling a bit rough this morning, woke up stiff.
Been pootling round on The Kettle for the last month or so and it was a bit of a shock riding the RS fully loaded at "slightly" higher speeds than I've doing while running in The Kettle and my neck is feeling it.
On the plus side my Wilbers rear shock is coping well, first trip fully loaded with that too.

You should be delighted still getting 'morning wood' at your age! 😂 Weather's looking pretty good for the next few days so fingers crossed you enjoy a mostly dry trip. I've already setup the rotating bed and ceiling mirror - all just how you like it. Struggling to source the alpaca baby oil - you can be so fussy! 😉🤗

Ah lovely babes, you still have those extra heavy duty rubber marigolds or did we wear them out last time?

P.s just remind me do I put my watch forward one hour or two?

The more you put your watch forward, the sooner the fun stuff happens. So knock yourself out! 😁.

The marigolds were well worn so I converted them to fingerless for that extra bit of touchy-feely. We can give them a spin when you arrive.

We landed at Dublin and was welcomed with bright sunshine, my Nav 5 shit itself and sent us on the scenic route to our hotel in the centre of the city..... Fuck it was hot in full textiles, filtered as much as I could considering I didn't know where the fuck i was going.

Eventually got to the hotel, got out of my gear, couldn't wait to get nakedbut was told by reception I had to wait till i got to the room.
Got showered, changed and we headed out for an open top bus tour of the city.

Met up with our friends from Tipperary ,Sharron and Damo...... Things got messy then.

Woke up this morning feeling a bit fuzzy,a shower, fry up and an hours walk around Dublin and we were good to go.
We took the direct route to Galway, had a smattering of rain but that soon passed and it was a sunny 19 degrees when we arrived at our hotel.
A quick bite to eat and we headed off to the Cliffs of Moher,we missed that on our planned trip with @Hatcho when my K1300s broke down at Tintwhistle.
Anyways we took the coast road there and that was fun,had a good wander round the cliffs then headed back to Galway and now having a beer before we get changed and head into town.

Top tip
If you're ever this way make sure you try Corkscrew Hill, you won't regret it.

Well we had the privelidge and pleasure of hosting Mr and Mrs Bravo last night. They rolled up in the roasting weather so got them quickly settled in with a cold cider to cool off. After introductions to all the kittens it was out for a delightful meal and drinks. As we all agreed, when you meet back up with good mates, no matter how long it's been, it all just falls back into place.

They set off this morning after a cup of tea and more kitten cuddles. Last ones aboard the ferry apparently, always like to live on the edge! 😎

Safe home folks, always a pleasure to see you both. Let's not wait as long till next time. 🤗😊😎

Lovely to see you both as always,it had been a couple of years since we last saw you both but only seemed like last week.
Thanks for putting us up for the night/putting up with us for the night.

So after visiting the cliffs I thrashed the RS (The Gentleman's Express)back to our digs in Galway so we could shower, change and go for a wander.
Time we had explored we were too late for dinner so we ended up eating around 22.30 in the golden arches.

We saw this guy fly fishing, now had it been me i would've only needed to be in the river three minutes before i needed a piss.

Its now Wednesday and we've got a good day ahead of us.
We're heading to Mizen Head to visit The Mizen Head Bridge,it's been on my bucket list since I saw that Irish fella from The line of Duty did a telly programme called That Irish fella from The line of Duties Ireland or summat like that.
As mentioned elsewhere we planned it in 2021 chinky flu blah blah blah etc.

Now as also mentioned elsewhere my Nav 5 was tripping out on something and was as trust worthy as an Arab on a goat farm so I went with Google maps..... 304 kilometres from our hotel.
"Three hours max baby" I confidently told Mrs Bravo,my phone was in my tanks bag and I had absolutely no fucking idea of anything on my route I was just listening to instructions through my intercom.
The first part of the journey was motorway so I opened the RS up,there's no points just a fine so it would be rude not to.

We got on to the minor roads and that's where the fun began.... Google took me on some excellent roads,to be honest I would rather not had the luggage on but fuck me what a trip, nearing Mizen head i ignored Google and took the signed scenic route so we were riding around the cliff road.
Anyways we got to Mizen Head and ticked another one off my bucket list.
If you've never been I'd recommend it.

So after a couple of hours there we headed up to Cork to our hotel, it was still hot and we both felt like a shower and a drink so i rode like a cùnt all the way back.
