Got fed-up reading about hydrocarbons, flash points, upper flammable, lower flammable limits and flammable ranges, so i went for a very enjoyable wee spin.
Bridge in the back ground looks like it has been rebuilt
I remember this flooding very well as I was on rescue duty on the other side of the city but recall receiving information about someone having been swept away in the floods while trying to assist/rescue people in difficulty.
Nice tribute to the guy.
People are still putting fresh flowers on the bridge
This wee plaque is also fixed to the bridge
There were also flowers at the bridge in the first photo but my moto is hiding them.
Anyways, a nice wee spin

, where i picked up a screw in my rear tyre ...... luckily i managed to get close to home without trouble but the last few miles I had to drive through deep floods and piles of gravel and slippery stuff on the roads
