Don't worry Jim, they're all a bunch of tossers on here. British humour is something to get used to. Took me ages.

I couldn't understand a tread about can openers in the RT section. Was expecting a video of a 1200 powered machine chewing through Haynes finest baked beans tins.

Much clearer now and good to know there is such a thing on the market. I'll have a look on ADVrider for the thread.

I've fitted some really good lights low down so that their purpose becomes more look at me than look how much more I can see.

It goes on to say that it's been done in a way that means the look at me need/value has been increased because the rider is likely to be fecking around adjusting his knob rather than paying attention to the road ahead

I thought I had accidentally picked ADVrider instead of UKGSer... Sanity was returned with the usual piss taking rather than a 30 pager re who had picked the best grade on billet aluuuminum... The addition of "Wonderwheel" was a masterstroke however...

It makes sense to me. The latest LEDs can be far too fierce for daytime use. The number of dazing pedal cycles attests.
Full power is great with main beam and day lights at the right output make a lot of sense. It's a shame theses systems are not available for pre LC models.
