Don't like the stock rear hugger/does nothing to keep dirt off the underside of the seat. do NOT want to spend a million bucks on some carbon fiber piece

so....
what should i do?

thanks in advance

what hugger

Fit a Motorrad Concepts (front and rear). Makes the bike look great and really works in keeping the crud off you and the bike. Depending on the colour of your bike, consider colour-coding them when purchasing.

I agree, although the hugger does nothing to keep the bike clean it does stop direct water spray from the tyre hitting the rear shock, linkages & battery & keeps your left leg & boot MUCH drier :thumb

Another vote for the Motorrad concepts hugger. I bought a colour coded one in go-faster yellow, and fitted it last week. Did a rather wet 300mile ride yesterday and the hugger definitely helped to keep the back end clean. Without it everything at the rear of the bike would have been covered in muck, with it the shock and linkages stayed clean and my boots didn't get showered in filth from the rear wheel.

Its well made, complete with little alloy inserts to block off unused threads in the transmission unit (the useless original crud catcher gets junked as part of the fitting of the hugger) and it looks the biz too :)
