What a change in a bike

After the hall sensor went south at christmas i went to town on the engine to get it running better.Done the tps adjustment ,valves and end float bought a harmenizer and did the tb`s and cables and set the cold start cable correctly.
I just have never had such a happy and smooth boxer engine its just a joy to ride.Plus a pair of conty trail attack`s have given the bike grip and feel even in this cold wet weather that the old trailwings could only dream about.
My r1100s will get the same treatment when it comes out after winter.

It is a great simple piece of kit.Balanced the tb`s with my twinmax then the harmoniser and it was no real shock that it was slightly off.

I regularly get stuff posted from NA... it can take up to a month and a bit longer if customs catch it to make you pay a fee... they are not too good at converting dollars to pounds so be sure to check. If you do get charged you will need to post off some stuff to royal mail to get your money back as they make you pay it in the first place.... its not the fault of the guys behind the counter they are just doing what they have been told and they have no say in such matters.

The fastest delivery time I've ever had was a week... but as you are over that I'd stop holding my breath!

10 days max this time.But bought a set of tyga exhauxts for my rs250 a while back and they took 5 weeks!.

I used a 'differential manometer' made from instructions on some Air Head forum - basically a long length of small bore clear plastic pipe taped to a meter rule.

Seems to work and cost about €3
Used it for balancing carbs on Transalp in the past too

Harmoniser arrived the day after I posted my question on here - that worked then

Since then I've done the valves then used the hamoniser to balance the throttles. What a brilliant bit of kit!! For the last umpteen years I've used the original Carbtune mercury gauge, first on my Guzzi and more latterly on the oilheads I've owned. The harmoniser makes the job so simple and seems less susceptible to fluctuation (and presumably is better if you are cross-eyed, though I wouldn't know if this is the case). I doubt that I've ever managed to get the balance spot-on before. Anyway, I'm glad I got it; I can retire the old mercury gauge now, sucking the tubes was beginning to make me feel a bit funny ......
