Who's a clever boy then? Thought I'd tidy up the crap, burnt out, dangling wires as part of my big plan to get the spot lights working...

So move the tank (GSA on an 1150 GS) back, disconnecting the fuel lines, and being jolly careful... it's my first time... oooohhhh....

Get rid of the shit elastictrickery and put all back together...

I lose the bolt ( and an hour of my life trying to fit it...) that holds the snorkel thing in place and she runs on one cylinder now.

I've nipped / dislodged / buggered something silly and ran out of time tonight, so when the beer is finally burped away in the morning I'll go and frown at it...

Having dug through the encyclopaedia boxertanica here I think it's the cable. A cable? My cable?

Could be aliens though.

oaf...

...she...

:nenau It's not a Latin bike...:augie

Regarding your problem, recheck everything you did to 'er and get 'er into shape. :thumb Good luck with that...

PS. Make sure your fuel connectors are not leaking and all the electrical cables are clean and engaged.

Don't despair ...

... look here for the answer to your woes; we've all done it :blast

Make sure throttle cables are not displaced at throttle bodies, the outer cables often hang up on support collar. Ohh so common !!:comfort

Yup...

I'm a clumsy oaf, and this 'ere forum is actually useful.

The throttle cable on the right was sat in EXACTLY the same position as the one in the photo posted by Lord Steptoe in his postingification.

Lesson learnt...

Thank god I don't have to take the train to work tomorrow...
