Its PI$$IN' down in Dublin at the moment - looks like a winters day except its quite warm :(

Off to Duffy's tonite for the HP2 launch (anyone else goin' ?). Just as well I've no money or I could do something stupid ;) It certainly looks the puppies danglies but I doubt I'll ever need more than the 12 provides :)

Sugarcube - any hints on routes / plans for the w/e ?

Maybe if North & South meet in Virginia, drop off our bags and then head for the hills :moped:

If this weather holds we'll need the SPF 15 :D but theres definitely rain forecast later in the week :(

Hopefully it'll clear up again for the w/e :thumb

after doing a little "fettling" on my New To Me R100gs over the weekend, i took Mrs Og. for a twilight run up the hills outside Dublin to watch the sunset, her only comment on the ride quality after the continuous pothole that is Sally Gap, was this...."can we go back to that bog road that links Newbridge and Maynooth (i think?!) and do this?!"

Not sure how many people are coming. This site seems to be quite good for slagging people off but sh1t for trying to organise a bike ride.

Maybe I should take the piss out of someone and maybe a bike ride will break out!

The other room is still free in the hotel. Going to drop it soon as its on my credit card. Fed up asking people if they are going or not. I appreciate the people who have let us all know but there are a lot who have written in other threads but not this one.
 
How ya Lads,i will make one of the days,not sure which one yet.I seriously depreciated my brownie points last weekend.You see,i put a bid on an African Twin on e-bay early in the proceedings and i won the f***ing thing.I tried to pull out but yer man in luxembourg was having none of it.I have to collect it on thursday.The Woman is not impressed.I am fighting for survival on this one.
She has stopped talking to me!!!Im new at this,is it serious when they do that :rolleyes:
 
I'd love to be going, but I'm sorry I can't commit at the moment. I may haveto work either one or both days at the weekend :spitfire :censor: :censor: . Maybe next time

I don't think anyone else is gonna sign up for the overnite so drop the extra room. At least there are a few of us staying over & it looks like a few others will turn up for one or other of the days. Sure we'll have a bit of crack anyway :thumb

Perfect example of why I never take anything to do with clubs anymore. :(
