What about this Donegal Man????????????????

Talk about a chip on the shoulder !

And here's me thinking I was making fair comment about how things were percieved years ago compared to todays modern world. I thought I was saying, hindsight is a wonderful thing. Obviously, the prat above doesn't like me and no matter what I say, well, lets just say he has a history of jumping all over my musings. The only reason I don't have him on ignore is that he gives me such a laugh. Maybe he should take a leaf out of his own book and stop being another Irish 'victim'.

and delete when it was so obviously necessary .. ? ..

The choice as to whether or not that avatar stayed or not was not mine to make.

You have been baiting a few people on the site of late, trying to be one of the big fellas, to be edgy and to get a row going, but there's no need for personal insults just because you done agree with another mans point of view.

Please gentlemen. These are people that mostly gave their lives on the battle field or in field hospitals in great pain. The ones that survived lived with the memories of horrors for the rest of their lives. It should not be treated lightly. If the call came today who among us would give up everything so readly to go and die so far from home. Please do not trivulise the sacrifice. JJH

I am not even in the slightest trying to trivialise the matter.
However ,I am trying to highlight another angle of what actually happened.
Only to have it demeaned by another opinion.
