Yes, Youre in danger of waking up the farkle police lots of strong opinions on them, oops I think you already have

It's not as if you posted a personal choice of, ride your bike or farkle

Now I know you like to get out there and do one as they say somewhere Personaly im into enhancing my ride to suit me where I can I see my farkle's as enhancing or protection (insurance). But i like it to look nice to me also.


I must admit thoes muffs are good in the winter got mine from Val H of this parish, they look good on the blue one http://www.thelmcco.com/Products.html fur lined riding with summer glover in winter mostly not even putting on the heated grips

My commute may be a lot longer than it is at the moment if I get the job I am going for an interview for this Tuesday so I shall book mark that website and see how I get on with the longer ride!


I do like buying stuff for my bike, I try and make sure that I buy something that is going to enhance my riding pleasure or protection of bike.

You've had some good advice so far and FWIW I only buy stuff for my bike if it has a positive effect on:

1. The lighting - helps me to see and be seen
2. The handling
3. The comfort
4. Protection of the bike in the event of an off
5. The range
6. Luggage capacity

Anything else is just cosmetic frippery and pointless unless you just like making your bike heavier.

Have you thought of adding an Hid dip lamp, won't blow you budget. Then you can spent the rest on petrol and go put some mile on the bike!

Servdave..looking at your bike ..maybe consider a beak extender , they (imho) do make the F650GS look better .
