The standard battery on GS is fine - if you actually use the bike it stays charged 
...and even if you don't IME.
Shorai. The clue was in the last line of my post!
I paid £80 for the 9ah for my matchless g15 csr. Had to ditch zenor diode and fit new voltage regulator.
They are incredibly light. If I put it in your hand (big boy) you would think it was display model with nowt inside. Only time will tell if there any good but so far so good.
Carrot cycles Lincoln in where I brought mine.
