What diamater pipe to put in place of exhaust flap?

Just wondering really as I'm fed up of looking at the useless thing since being disconnected! Also need some plugs or something to blank off the ends where the bowden cables used to be attached to the servo unit. Might even just get a new cable made which just loops round so the bike thinks its still connected? Know anyone who might make a cable?

Having spent one full day back to back comparisions of flap connected and disconected. My honest conclusion(standard bike) was to leave it as original. With the flap open all the time slow speed riding was marginally better but midrange torque was worse. General riding in all conditions I prefer it standard.
Try it first before you make anything permanent. Takes about five minutes with the right tools.
Just my opinion but other may argue different. Cheers
