Just thinking if the price changes much across the uk and euro for new and 2nd hand, I know at one time it was better to buy from up north is it the same now.

I bought my 1983 R80g/s £700 put a set of Metzlers on it >£87.50 then and just normal servicing since
"O" and a rear damper £95 from Motorworks last year.
1980, R90s £900 from Walsall
Still got her, all original. Costs, servicing, one valve guide and one clutch plus Carb rebuild by JRM
1972 June, FOC R26 in a tea chest from Stoke Newington.
On road in March 73, used regularly till 82 then resting till now, must get her up and done this year
1979. BMW R50 with Steib in need of TLC [runner but slightly shoddy] from Germany £100, sold to a mate for £1000 1 year later without doing anything to it!.
