What does it take to get the coating off the wheels?!

Reject the bike…, get your money back, and buy another one somewhere else.
If this dealer recons powder coating the whole wheel is okay, then it’s a dealership to avoid imho…..

I rejected it before I bought it. I think some common sense might be prevailing - they’ve realised that’s powder-coating will kill the value so they are now exploring re-anodising. However, I reckon by the time they have removed the spokes, done the work and re-laced them they will be well on the way to the cost of a new set!! We’ll see - I have said if they do it properly I might still be interested.
