Thanks for your help tossers.Their about 250mm in length & 15mm high.:censor:

Hi Morty

Welcome to the forum.

Are you talking about the two fog lights actually fitted to the crash bars at the front, below the beak, but above the mud guard? They would be bigger than 15mm though.

Rather exposed and easily damaged.

Or do you mean the indicators, which are nearer that size?

Ballast for HID's ? Do they have wires coming out the back and up into the headlights?

What model & age is the bike?

Is it new or second hand - i.e. has previous user added any accessories to the bike that you know of?

Have you a photo of the electronic components?

I'd think Bryn is right. :thumb

From what's been described, albeit in a very vague way, I'd guess these are ballasts for HID Headlights or spotlights

Cheers fellow tossers,
the tosser award goes to me.its ballasts for the spot lights.cables are well integrated into loom & well covered.just as a thought for you tossers that have had their gsa's for years.how do the ballasts fair being so exposed??
unfortunately where i live the nearest motorrad dealer is a 4-5hr round trip so its easier doing the repairs myself.Anyone know what the going hourly rate is for motorrad mechanic as i'm going to charge for my time for doing it.:bounce1

Ballasts are sealed units .... never had any trouble.... just don't worry about them :thumb
