Then wouldn't it be better to stop the sh*t spray at source rather than defend just one of the places it ends up? I have already done that with a mam fender extender which appears to do a very good job.

Altrider engine guard just arrived, nice solid piece of kit, just waiting for Nippys MAM fender extender, then I should be sorted against the gravel, now must think, ride the fecker.

Sea Dog is correct Fender extender from Nippys is plenty enough to protect, now I have it on the bike, but both may be overkill, but now I have them at least I will be at piece, I have scratches in paint, never bought the bike to do mad offroad, not capable anyway........
