What gear 3/4 season wear

hi there, returned to biking last year and bought a Frank Thomas 2 piece suit, works well in winter but far too hot in Summer (boil in the bag etc). Looking for some new gear for summer and/or rest of year etc. Dont have the dosh or desire to go down the Rukka or twat suit route. What do other tossers recommend in the budget to mid price range that doesn't make you feel you've been sitting in a sauna!

I have two pairs of trousers I wear for summer use. BMW City and a pair of Draggin' jeans. They're not mesh but are designed to look a bit more casual. I prefer the City trousers as the armour is built in and they look great but the Draggin' jeans are probably better if you're just popping down the shops and don't want to look like a tosser.

As for jackets I have a Frank Thomas mesh jacket which is great but only comes out for a few weeks of the year! I'm tempted to pick up a leather jacket or more casual short jacket for the summer too.
