What has the NEC done to me

Well,

I've got an 05 1150 GSA SE. Had the bike since new and 16k on the clock. Really really like the bike and I've been all over on it.

Went to the NEC yesterday for a look and now really want the new 12 GSA (the new red color). I really didn't think that would happen but yes I'm afraid I could be spending some money next year.

Anyone else been drawn into the new shiny look?

I'm in similar state of mind, so went for a browse (always dangerous!) to Southport Superbikes yesterday. Had a poke around a fully loaded white one in the showroom and then when I started chatting to the guy (who was fixing the Christmas lights at the same time), he told me it didn't matter if I did have a wodge of cash to go along with my 05 1150 GSA, it wouldn't matter 'cause they haven't got any left !

So, that solved the problem immediately. Thank goodness actually as the more expensive something is, the greater the chance of my impulse-buying it!

I really love my 07 1200 and there is nothing at all wrong with it.

But the new Adv is very tempting- they can keep the naff looking bling fest thing that the 'new' 1200 is though.

I just need to work out a way to justify changing....
