Arai Quantum E then an F, just replaced with a Viper GT.
They are quiet, dry, andthe new one ventilates well.

I had a Schuberth C3 for a few days and hated it as it leaked and was drafty if quiet.
Tried a Shoei Multitech, and their equivalents to the Quantum F/Viper and I just seem to fall between two sizes.

I just seem to have an Arai shaped/sized head:augie

Used Fog city's for years and never had steaming issues, current lid/visor has Pinlock and seems to work as well

Used to have a Nolan, that had a flip front with a built in sunvisor.
After 12 years thought it was time to change, also i could not find a replacement visor. It was without doubt the best helmet i have ever had.
I now have a Shoei Multitec, very comfortable but noisy, and i really miss the built in sunvisor.

it s quite strange i feel the multitech is the least noisy of any lid ive owned. and never seems to mist up no matter how cold or wet:cool::cool::cool:

if ever i put on my tour X now it feels like im battling misting up noise and lord knows what else:( summer lid only that is now.

On my 2nd Schuberth C2.

The only helmet I've found that offers my head shape all day comfort.

If I knew of another manufacturer that accommodated my 'special' head shape I'd buy theirs in the new year.

Arai TourX3 with pinlock visor now, previously, Arai Quantum & Arai RX7, cant remember what I had before RX7 and very early on a Bell Star II.
Arai have been the best, I must have one of the Arai shaped Heeeds :P

Arai Quantum F which I haven't worn for a long time now.

System 5 which is light and comfortable but as mentioned above is feckin useless in the rain.

Shoei Hornet DS which I am liking at the moment. My first experience of pinlock and me likey. Just need a tinted or iridium visor for it now. :)

I am limited in my choice 'cos I've got a fat 'ead! (XXXL)

Got a Held Takato Enduro helmet (excellent) with autocom fitted.

A Shoei XR1000 in black, v comfortable, possibly a little loose.

An HJC Half helmet for the cruiser I haven't got anymore:blast

I'm lookin for a flip up helmet in XXXL with built in retractable sun visor. Tried the system 6 BMW but my chin got in the way!

Looking at a Scorpion EXO 900 Flip, anyone got any experience of these???:nenau

Sooooo,,anyway,,,

Anyone got any experience of a Scorpion EXO900 Flip?????????:augie

Shark Evoline

I've enjoyed using the original Roof Boxer full flip chin guard for the last 9 years. Always found it very noisy if shut up and visor closed but comfortable open no visor.
Decided on a change this year and went for the Shark Evoline full flip at the NEC show. Although it is one of the heaviest Helmets around I've found it very comfortable and exceptionally quiet even fully closed. I've spoken to people on the hands free phone and they haven't a clue I'm on the bike which is quite loud, (Leo Vince +Chip) on a R1100GS.
Haven't tried the built in sun visor in anger yet.

:):):):)
