What is (if any) the biggest top box that will fit an OE rack GSA?

I am a bit tired of the tiny boxy ally OE one that I find useless once you put a waterproof set in it won't fit much more let alone a laptop bag...

I am aware of a £300 Givi 58lt ally one, but that needs a separate mount, is that so? Is the givi mounting bit difficult to install over the standard OE rails? Has anyone tried the GIVi ally panniers for this bike? Are they ok? (I have had plastic Monokeys without issues in many other bikes)

I run full set of Givi Ally boxes on my gsa. My top box is a 42l version. 30 minutes to install adaptor plate that also comes with strengthening arms. I like it.

They have a big selection of alloy boxes and even have BMW fitting kit that works the same as the OEM version.

Mount is easy to fit, 4 bolts.

You could fit a towbar and get a trailer, not sure if it counts as a "top" box though.

Fitted the givi plate and 58 litre box to my gs lc yesterday-- 4 studs out,. Replaced with 4 bolts and nyloc nuts plus a small plate at the rear. It took me about 35-40 minutes to remove the metal BMW rack and replace it with the standard rack plus givi plate.
It looks massive-- no need to take a tent, just climb in....
