Hi all,
So you just bought a new GS and don't have loads of cash to add bits and pieces - so what did/ would you buy ?
I,m thinking light guards/ crash bobbins etc .....

Thanks everyone.

Indicator guards, very good when in garage and not space to get past bike.

I’ve put tinted hand guards on from Ali express £15.00. Exact replica of the givi ones

1. led indicator guards , they do snap off very easily . e bay chinese ones as good as the Wunderlich ones but £15 a pair
2. Headlight guard ....numerous makes and huge price differences
3. front axle crash bungs.... buy decent
4. Final drive pivot crash bung ...same as above
5. Front and rear Machine Art mudslings or for 1/3 of the price buy replica ones .
6. Engine bars ........from genuine ,Givi,Wunderlich,Heed, Touratech and many others
Anything else is unneccessary

Windshield strenthener, is good when have larger screen on motorway

Chinese adjustable rear brake lever, Grip Puppies do two things, give a grip I am more comfortable with and stop your hands being roasted by the heated grip, yes they work just fine through the Grip Puppies.
I have put loads of the dearer stuff on but no 'Tarting up' it's all needed as I don't care what the bike looks like as long as it works to my needs.

Stop your hands being roasted , i've yet to own or ride any bmw that the heated grips get hot enough to cause discomfort through a pair of summer gloves (unlike the Oxford ones on my versys which could roast a chicken)

You will be able to advise him too, after all you've already stated your going to farkle your bike spending lots of money on it.. And what i do to my bike has absolutely nothing to do with you flyboy. Im thinking your seriously jealous of my bike because you keep refering to it.:comfort :P Get a life ffs
PS, i dont do cheap when it comes to farkles, they have to be suitably expensive, unlike the cheap shit you would probably drape all over your bike.:P:D

Don’t worry, you’ll be the first person I come too if I want advice on keeping a leaky bike in a leaky shed behind a leaky council house :-)
