What new (cheap) bits did you add ?

So you had to drill holes in your OEM mudguard to fit that extension ?

No pal,I had to cut a bit off the side as the Hugger caught it a bit. I didn't need both really.

Oh sorry you meant the front.Yes I did

Its worth £12 just for the laughs, I'v had tears in my eyes reading this thread, its got everything, good advice, funny comments, and a smattering of insults. Whats not to like...:D

I notice that on Nippy's site the Wunderlich one has been changed since i bought my first one back in the day (2013) and here is a pic of the chinese knock off one that i have fitted to my bike now. Its identical to the original i bought 7 years ago, and is held on using the two screws and an invisible clamp on the insdide of the mudguard so no drilling required.

I bought it as part of a a kit that included a mudsling. All for the princely sum of £35 from Amazon. I didn't like the mudsling, so sold it on here, and ive ended paying £10 for this one as fitted now. It slides up the oem guard around an inch or so so wont be falling off anytime soon. Altogether a tenner well spent AFAIC, although there is a tit on here that thinks its useless rubbish and a waste of time (bit like himself tbh):thumb:D

I bought most of my farkles before I bought the bike so didn't know about copies. Oh well :blast

Haha - i have enough to spend on new gear for the Mrs as her old stuff “ doesn't,t match” the new bike ! :blast:blast:nenau

Great replies so far - thank you.

Get rid of the missus.
Sorry, you weren't thinking of spending that much were you?

Those screws need changing for black ones. :rob:D

I like the blue line on your tyre, did you use a special marker pen? If yes do you have a link where I can get one? Will mach a blue bike :green gri:D

No, you need new tyres to get that line, which goes to show how little miles i've done on it since new, 1005 in fact. That pic was taken when the bike was new, with only 60 miles on the clock. But it will be getting a slacking off tomorrow despite what wee jimmy crankie says.:P:blast:D

Don't you have chance to use it ?

Don't you have chance to use it ?

Not since last August, I was just to busy with work and stuff, and then this bloody covid crap hit and well you know the story about that. I would have been heading to Morcambe today on my way to the TT but thats now for next year. I will be out tomorrow for a gentle bimble around the back roads and keep a low profile. My oldest lad is going too with his XR so might take a long run round the malt whisky trail. Obviously no spirit will be ingested.
