Bad move sir......These bikes are keepers, and as such a hundred quid here or there is irrelevant, and so is the plate.......
I could have waited two months to get the next letter reg, but that would have been two months without my Adv....do I regret it?? Not for one bloody second
Once you've made your mind up, just go and buy one.....you really won't regret it

I had a choice between a late 05 or wait two months for an 06.
two months without a bike, winter or not. thats a no brainer
prices aint going down once the "season" starts.
For all its faults the 1200GS gets great reviews everywhere and is going to a popular buy come march/april

Seriously though,I had a £10K budget last summer and could have pretty much bought anything. The bike I bought was the first one I rode a GS12. It has ran perfectly and I now I positively enjoy kitting up to go out in the cold and the p*ssing rain!

I love my 1200, its like a drug, I never want to get off.
Just got a heated vest and I ride it in all weather.
I was really worried when I brought mine. I know now that it was the right thing to do.
