I've had a look at a few now. But with ABS, ESC, etc it gets a bit confusing. I'm not too bothered about the Electronic Suspension but is it worth going for ABS and the Traction Control? And what's acceptable mileage wise before you would start to shy away? The front corrosion issue doesn't bother me too much. I can sort that.

Pretty much Tufty. Had a go on an 1150 but found going on the 1200 it just felt right. But it's bloody confusing with a pack for this or that pack for that:confused:

My reason for getting all the packs, was mainly in hope to make it more desirable if and when I came to sell it, if you can afford it I would say get one with all the packs as a safe guard, but how this actually works out in terms of saving and gaining money when it comes to resale, might actually work out to be here nor there. I just know as a buyer I would lean more to buying a fully loaded one if I had the choice and money between the two.

Then there were some things that I actually did want, like heated grips, tyre pressure monitors, spot lights and pannier rails which became a no brainer for me.

The ESA has been handy for me, nice to be able to change the preload
at the touch of a button in a few seconds if I am carrying a pillion, luggage etc...

bottom line is only you can decide. there are only 3 packs (not including enduro) have a look what is included in each and see if it has anything you desire in it - I was not for instance bothered about a chrome exhaust but wanted heated grips and onboard computer so got the comfort pack on that basis and so forth for the rest of the packs.

Thats the best advice I can give you really. Good luck and enjoy your new ride.
